What to Blog… Oh, Why Must I Torture Myself?

I spent most of the morning researching blog templates to try and spiffy up my site. There are many, many templates out there, and I have not yet developed the skills to do so (although, I’m quite sure it’s a matter of cutting and pasting). My wanderings through the wonderfully wacky world wide web led me (quite quickly) to eblogtemplates.
I hope I’m not breaking any rules by putting a link of them on my site… I’m going to rely on someone contacting me, if I did. I’ve put their site on my trackback thing-y, so I think that is legit. And it seems sort of like free advertising for them when I do this, so they shouldn’t be too mad.
The primary reason for linking to them, is for my own selfish use. Likely in the future… This website is filled not only with free blog templates, but a plethora of articles on how to improve your blog. I’m sure I would have been able to find information about linking to other sites if I had kept perusing. Perusing was the issue though. Many, many interesting articles I glanced through, except they did not relate to me at this point. Sure, making money would be nice, who wouldn’t want to? It would also be nice to learn how to increase traffic volumes by improving my Google rankings… Footers? Never heard about them before, but footers sound good too.
Soooo, I was bombarded with all sorts of information.
Information overload.
Result?
Paralysis.
Nothing.
Na-da.
Haven’t done a thing.
Well, I’ve pulled myself together and figure I should at least post about my morning. Here it is. Sort of sad, really. All that time + energy = no tangible results.
Signing off for now, to do some productive job hunting!
