Here I am!
This is my attempt at a web log, blog if you will. Originally, I wanted to make a specific type of blog, a guy on the radio said you needed a topic in order for a blog to get any teeth. You know, a photography blog, or a cooking blog, or a gadget blog…Maybe even purses and/or shoes… Wanting to have the best blog in the history of blogging, I wracked my brain for ideas…. Nothing. Oh, certainly there are lots of things that interest me, but an entire blog??? er.. hmmm…
Another aspect of this whole blog thing is my aversion to publicity. While I would love a gigantic following, I also wanted to retain my anonymity. I realised this while when I attempted a photo blog. I wanted people to ooh and ahh over my pictures… Except… Wouldn’t someone out there be able to figure out it was me? I don’t mind sharing with friends and family, but sharing with everyone… for all eternity??? Once it’s out there, it’s out there. Some server, some home computer, or something will have tidbits of my life stored away in their data banks…
He-he… It’s funny though, I used to have a geo-cities account back in the day. I can’t figure out how to look at anything from that page. It seems like everything on it has been erased forever…. Maybe that’s because the page came and went before the advent of Google. Wow. I’m old. I didn’t think I was, but apparently… tape decks, floppies… colour monitors….
But, I guess action is better than fretting, and in-action…. So, here I am.
